StarFire™ 6000 Receiver

StarFire™‚Äč 6000 Receiver: The StarFire™ 6000 is an enhanced replacement for the StarFire 3000 Receiver. The StarFire 6000 Receiver implements an improved antenna, the latest in Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signal processing technology, and a new differential correction signal. All of this technology adds up to improved performance and uptime as well as lower cost of operation when paired with precision agriculture systems such as AutoTrac™ assisted steering system and John Deere Section Control.

The John Deere StarFire™ 6000 Receiver correction levels including SF1, SF3 and RTK.  

The new SF3 correction signal will provide +/- 1.2 in. in-season 15 minute pass to pass accuracy in most of our area.  This accuracy is in-season and will not carry from year to year.



 


StarFire™ 3000 Receiver

StarFire™ 3000 Receiver:  The John Deere StarFire™ 3000 Receiver was John Deere’s first receiver to utilize satellite signals from both GPS and GLONASS satellites for SF1, SF2 or RTK correction level.  The 3000 was also the first John Deere receiver to have true 3-D integrated terrain compensation.  

 


StarFire™ iTC Receiver

StarFire™ iTC Receiver:  The John Deere StarFire iTC Receiver was discontinued June 25, 2010.  The ability to transfer SF2 and RTK activations from an iTC to a 3000 or 6000 receiver will cease June 1, 2018. The ability to transfer SF2 and RTK activations from an iTC to a 3000 or 6000 receiver will cease June 1, 2018.
